Math Games Collection for Grades K-8
I strongly believe in the power of games to promote the understanding and mastering of basic arithmetic and math concepts. This is one of the reasons why Roberto and I decided to teach the Math Games class at our local homeschool co-op. And, by the way, we couldn’t have pulled this class together without Super Hero’s assistance as our “Math Games Class Helper” 😉
I’ve put together an assortment of free ebooks on math games that I collected as I looked for good math game ideas for our class. In this list, games include board games with printables, number card games, puzzles, and mental games such as logical reasoning or strategy games. I’m embedding the ebooks with different level of difficulty, from easy/beginner games for K-2, to others that progress in difficulty and cover multiplication, division, fractions, square roots, etc. for older children.
This is not a comprehensive list, I consulted more books, which I cannot embed here due to copyright restrictions. However, be sure to visit our video gallery for more math game ideas; we will continue to post more demos on the most popular games with the kids.
If you know of any good math games your child really likes, please share it with us!
