The recital for Homeschoolers of Miami Enrichment -H.O.M.E. was a big success. I was so impressed by the multi-talented kids who performed in a variety of shows and activities. From singing, to dancing, to acting, to playing not one, but two or three musical instruments, these homeschool kids can do it all –and do it so nicely! It was extremely gratyfing to witness the performance of these kids. They are all so confident, self-assured and uninhibited … at such young age! Not one child seemed to suffer of stage fright or even be shy or scared at all to stand in front 150 people and carry out his act. Not even the youngest ones. It was a beautiful thing to see.
Of course we were delighted with Super Hero’s performances. He got to play Twinkle, Twinkle in his violin, he sang a medley of lovely songs and lastly, he breakdanced amongst a few other kids. I loved them all of course, but my personal favorite was his singing. This kid’s got potential!!!! He was absolutely adorable singing Raindrops are Falling on my Head, Climb Every Mountain, and I Just Called to Say I Love You. (He got a cell phone during the last song, it was so cute). So many parents commented to me they loved his singing too (thank you everybody, it warms my heart to hear it 🙂 ). One of the moms said she cried with the last song, and so did Roberto. All I can say is WOW. What a treat! Thank you my dear Super Hero boy. You delighted us with your singing, violin playing and dancing. We love you sooo much!
A BIG thanks to Reyna Sang, Super Hero’s voice teacher, Katrenna Johnson, violin teacher, Expressions of Talent, breakdancing instructors, Rebecca Tudor, Magic Tree House wiz, which Super Hero absolutely loves and Logan Gonzalez, the Pokemon guru. You have made Super Hero’s semester at H.O.M.E. so special and memorable. THANK YOU!
