Moving Beyond the Page 6-8 – Concept 1, Unit 2, Lesson 1: A Good Citizen
Today we learned what it means to be a responsible, caring, honest citizen who lives and helps his community. We read the story “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and reflected on why it is important to behave correctly regardless of the situation. We then recreated the story, coloring it, writing sentences about it and rearranging the scenes onto construction paper.
RightStart Math: The Math Balance
Today was the first day we’ve used the Math Balance. It was great fun to play with the pairs that make up 10. We will continue to use it tomorrow … we’ll see what kind of exercises we’ll be asked to do. One thing is certain: Anything coming from RightStart Math is sure to make our learning more exciting and fun!
